The one with ads...does anyone have it?
I'm thinking about getting one since I want to read more, but I'm unsure about the value of ebook prices and if ereaders encourage people to read more often. |

| Depends on if the ads are solely on the away screen. If that's it then it'd be fine. If it is embedded throughout the device then fuggit. |

They're only on screensavers when you put the device to sleep, which I'll never see when its protective case is closed over it.
My Dad has a regular 3G Kindle and the usual screensavers are literary figures and classic artwork. Just looking for more opinions from Kindle owners in here... |

| I've got the regular no 3G one and I would have went with the cheaper one if it was available then. Just turn the wireless off unless downloading a new book to save battery and it lasts about a week and a half using it a lot.. If the ads are only during the sleep screen and the ads don't change once asleep draining battery. It wouldn't add any annoyance. I'm tired of seeing ugly authors mugs anyways an ad might change it up :p |
