YO!
First time posting a set, put this together cause I needed a promo mix, comes in at 43 minutes :)
Will put together a new one if anyone's interested-
contains a few 'work in progress tracks', and I put this together in ableton which warped them funny (I presume because they're unmastered) :conf:
anyway,
T/L:
1: Alter breed- Midnight (Andrea Bertolini rmx)
2: Sun Control Species- Pi in the Sky
3: Ticon- Jinxed (Christian Smith Rmx) (HOLY COWBELL!!)
4: JCdG- Alter the Mood
5: Dinka- Meaningful Story (Jaytech rmx)
6: Jordan de Graaf - Handegg (got fairly messed up thru warping :l)
7: Jordan de Graaf- Ataraxia
8: Max Freegrant- Miss You (Alex Di Stefano RMX)
9: Marco V & Mohawk- Zero One

there's a first time for everything! :p
This one's really short, but I've got a gig on the 27th, and will put together a new one around then... EPIC tunes lined up for that! :)
You should come btw- will totally be worth it! ;) |

Really cool tunes, Jordan. You've produced some excellent tracks :D Didn't have any issues with the mixing either.
Next time though, pleeeeez make a longer set, at least an hour, or 2 hours would be even better. I feel like you could have started out here with pitching it down a bit, then working it up over time. Felt way too rushed in just 45 mins - I (personally) love mixes that start [wherever] and subtly progress, where you barely even notice the BPM increasing. You just suddenly find you're raving :p

You've got some tracks out there, signed now. Try to make a habit of making regular mixes, and post them here in DJ Promo. Include your own work, obviously.

Thanks stu! I actually spent AAGGGESSS on one today which drained me (My decks are ed so i have to use ableton, and I get way too anal about every transition etc and it takes forever), which I'm gonna finish and upload tmrw or more likely thursday- clocks in at and hour and a half, and I gave it a lot more room to breathe (gets pretty bangin at the end too :p )
Gonna try do them more regularly, hopefully once a month-- I slapped out the 45 min one really quickly cause I was in a bit of a rush, but I'm actually doing the one today as a kind of promo mix, and will be doing another 1.5, or 2 hour one after my gig on the 27th as well, so should have a few hours to cruise by on in the next few weeks :) |
