Trance artist duo partnership request

Hi my name's Jules, I'm a trance producer from England. I'm looking for an artist to collaborate with, to try out a partnership. I am very skilled in certain areas, the music side of things I am right up there, with a Masters in music composition, and a perfect ear when it comes to the musical notes. Production wise, I've been learning as fast as I can. I work mainly in logic. I'm pretty good, just about at a standard to start releasing music, but I'm not where I want to be yet, i.e. cosmic Gate, Juventa, Orjan Nilsen level.
I am looking for a creative partner, I understand the advantages of being a duo, or even a trio (above beyond). Look how much more productive these partnerships can be, spreading the work load, and having that 2nd opinion at all stages, compared to a solo artist. Ideally I would find someone whose skills complement mine. They would have expertise in any of these areas:
production virtuosso
singer/songwriter
DJing/performer
Lives in Southern California
I'm not expecting to find someone with all of these skills, but any expertise in at least one would be good. I think we would have to have similar taste in trance music. To give you an idea of my tastes, I would say some of my favourite artists/songs are:
Above and Beyond (Satelitte, On a Good Day, Sky Falls Down), Cosmic Gate (Body of Conflict), Shogun (Nadia), Armin (Burned with Desire), BT (Force of Gravity).
That said, my goal is not to simply imitate these artists. (Innovate, don't Imitate).
I'm 26, currently live in London (British), but I will be emigrating permanently to California in July. So ideally I would find someone who lives near LA.
I'm easy going, yet very driven. I've had to resort to advertising online, as I don't know where else to meet serious trance producers.
I have some of my tracks on my soundcloud:

Please message me if you're at all interested,
Cheers,
Jules |

I'd just find someone's music that you like and do your own remix, then approach them to see what they think.
BTW what keyboard did you use to get that distant voices sound around 1:39 of "Raging bull"? I'd turn that sound up a bit too. |

| Thanks for the advice Alpha, most of the atmospheric sounds were created using Spectrasonics Omnisphere |

| Hey Jules, I live in orange county (about an hour from LA). I know a lot of people in the trance scene and might be able to help you get started. I'm an intermediate producer in a wide range of genres so if you want to try collaborating I'm up for it but if nothing comes of it I can at least help you get connected with others. Let me know |

Hi Volterock, thanks for responding to my ad. Would be great to meet you once I'm out there, it looks like it will be late July-sometime in August that I get out there. I'll keep your details and get in touch then. Listening to your website, great music. Looking forward to seeing what California's dance scene is like these days,
Cheers,
Jules |
