On Thursday, May 12, we personally invite you to join us for an AA Meeting/Party 12 - "Artwalk Afterhours: The 1st Year Anniversary".
A good number of people enjoy artwalk in downtown during 2nd Thursdays of each month. No one had a place to go to afterwards and had asked us to do something. And thus, AA Meeting/Party was born. Best part about this is since we started, we have pretty much hit capacity. People come for the name, people stay for the music and people return coz of the vibe.
Now you wonder, what's so different about it? Well this one has no printed or online flyers, and won't be promoted heavily as we want to limit this one to around a selected few people only and ONLY those who love House music. In fact, try searching the event on facebook, it will be hard to find. You are getting this as we want you there as a Lover of House Music in Los Angeles
We will have special surprise guest DJs going Live with percussions, flutes, saxohones, keys, violins at times, and mixed musically to downtempo, to house, to tech house to disco and we even might jazz it up at times. Think of it as quality DJs who play at Warehouses, King King, Vanguard, Avalon, Libertine, Custom Pool & Flatlounge Pool, all jamming for the love of electronic dance music.
Venue is a pretty 1960's lounge with couches and a full BAR. Even has food! Trust us when we say, you haven't seen anything like it, except in the classic movies of yore.
PS. Feel FREE to bring your friends who love House music. And yes, there is Alcohol.
