If so did you use any of the online store building sites like yahoo ect? Looks semi simple with some decent customization options.
curious of some real reviews of pro/cons. |

| I know this might be none of my business but what are you trying to sell? Have you tried craigslist? :gsmile: |

it's part of what i do for a living, but from scratch.
as far as ready-to-wear solutions go, I recommend shopify for a lot of my clients.
I've also heard nice things about Big Cartel.
For integration with a content management system, I've set up satisfied clients with uberCart as part of a Drupal installation.
Sorry I can't provide a more in depth review of these. |

Only custom built stuff. No drop ins.
I've never been particularly enthusiastic about drop-in e-com solutions. |

Im trying to sell kitchen & bath cabinet parts & accessories. I use craigslist now but what im trying to do is create an online convienence for the customer & take away the part where the customers would have to call our store to place an order. Plus craigslist puts restrictions on duplicate ad's in different cities & limits you to simple line ad's with photos. Im trying to get something out there that can easily list more products & that is more organized as well. |

Hmm, well it depends on the situation. I was usually building things that needed quite a bit of customization and most drop in solutions I was told to research wouldn't meet them. |

There is always ebay but that wouldn't work so well if your customers are local. Pre builts that Adam suggested might be a good way to get your feet wet.
The cons of pre-builts is they can take a hefty commission, have a pre-built look and aren't well suited to certain products. But they're easy to start off. |
