I agree fully there, in fact I'm getting a little bored of epic trance myself, and a change is good. Just glad it didn't get ugly here with our views though!

| This tune is definately on !!! Very different from the stuff that Tiesto usually churns out but not at all bad. I have to agree that proggressive is the way to go. The Uplifting stuff is okay but it's the progressive stuff that really gets me dancing. I'd give it a 8 cause he will definately make a better one sometime soon.... |

Since there is already a variety of opinions here i wont bother saying much about this track. Yes I do love it, definitely not mainstream.
I am sure he'll spin this one tomorrow night when I see him LIVE!!!! YES, he's gunna rock and I am gunna roll. Sorry for the lame ass cliche. peace. |

This track is truely amazing... all of these negative comments comin from people who have probably listen to it through in winamp...i'm sorry, but ya can't judge a track through it...u need it very very very loud with full on bass... i would suggest hearin it in a club with a set up worthy of this track coz when the bass hits ya! it travels right through ya body and the whole club errupts... can't tell me 12,000 people (give or take a few) at gatecrasher can be wrong about this track(and i bet only a small minority actually new it was a tiesto track)... this is a work of art.nuff said!

Umm, I have my computer hooked up to a $2000AUD Stereo with a big active subwoofer and two extra speaker sets bridged on top of that, and it made no difference to what I think of the track. Ok I admit, my room's far from the atmosphere of a club, but it's all about taste, it's ok, but I've heard better from Tiesto! :) |

I've heard better, but still its an amazing song, it's getting better and better when you listen to it more often.

lol, gatecrasher aint that big.. its only 1200 capacity @ republic... ppl think its a massive club, but it aint, gods kitchen alone holds more than double what crasha does :) it may not have the volume of ppl, but it has the atmosphere and thats what counts and thats how its got its reputation :D

I don't know what ppl are complaining about. I guess only about Tiesto's versatility 'cause this tune is great in its own genre, progressive or whatever. Congrats to Tiesto 'cause he proves that he can make a kick-butt track outside of his usual creations. It's pretty tough to make a "repetitive" tune without making it boring. I like it not because it's Tiesto (I don't worship any DJ), but because it's very well designed and the elements are masterfully timed. It really comes to life in the Tiesto Dutch Dim. set - part 1, followed at 60:20 by what I call the beginning of World War III...hehe
And BTW, it sounds bombastic on a US $200 Mini-System, let alone a real, bassy system or in a club.
9.5/10 |

I like this one and not just because it's Tiesto.
It has that certain edge that I often really like. Hard to explain just what "that edge" is but it's there. |

There are only two of Tiesto's tracks that I like: this one and his remix of Sunrise. I'm more into progressive music than the euro-trance that Tiesto usually releases, and I gotta say I am loving this one. Easily one of my favourite tracks at the moment, and, like I inferred before, this has nothing to do with the fact that it has Tiesto's name atached to it, because that's actully something that's working against it rather than for it IMHO.
You guys might also want to check out the Orkidea mixes if you don't think this one is pumping enough as it is, cause they seem to be a bit more, erm, agressive for want of a better word. |
