Simon was delayed according to his twitter...

I've been actually having problems with United's website, and a twitter search shows that their entire system is down worldwide causing massive delays. Let's hope everyone makes it tonight!

Tyas played an amazing set, all the classics... 140bpm from start to finish. Melbourne, Banshee, Lift, Diary of Jane, Suburban Train, etc. Dude even kept it fresh and interesting and threw in some pitched-up electro tunes. Great producer, great DJ.

Patterson on the other hand sounded like the same song was being played for his entire set. I'm getting REALLY tired of those 5-note "Pluck Pluck Pluck, Pluckpluck" pattern melodies, that lead into a farty dull disapointing drop. I did like that he played alot of his own tunes and kept the energy up at least.

Stopped by for a little bit, left early after my friend who was flying in from the east coast finally landed (he was supposed to land hours before and come with me to Ruby).

What I heard was OK. I saw a couple washing machines on the floor already. And I rarely see that at Ruby to beging with!!

Your friend must have been hit by the United/Continental outage, or affected by it.
I didnt see the washers, but seriously if I was management I'd put a stop to that ASAP.
Going to bring down the club!

Actually, nope. He just had to fly from Boston --> JFK --> SFO and JFK was shut down for several hours due to weather. He wasn't flying United. I think continental. They ended up putting him on a Jet Blue flight to get here.
