Probably Netherworld, although for pure PLURPROG raveyness the Jules Verne CUT really tickles my fancy.
Yeah. Obviously I love the original, especially for those electro interludey bits, but the best bit about the Jules Verne mix is when that huge ascending riff comes in about two minutes into the track. When it's mixed in well that riff is the ultimate "HOLY IT'S NETHERWORLD I LOVE THIS ING TRACK" moment that does ridiculous damage on a dancefloor.

Oh yeah.
When I play around with trancey proggy stuff I love slamming that riff in at opportune moments.
I remember Avana's I think... masquerave set? You had a section where you mixed through Sven Vath - Ritual of Life and Netherworld (correct me if I'm wrong) and that section just worked sooo well.

I think his best work was made around 1994.
Mory Kante - Mogo Djolo (The Ambush remix)
Illuminatus - Hope (Oliver Lieb remix)
Paragliders - Oasis
LSG - Blueprint
Good freakin .
The first two are two of my all time favourite trance tracks.

Man, this thread has reminded me of some good ol' trance. The Ambush tracks are good, but i always loved his classic LSG tracks, "Fragile", "Hearts", "Blueprint" and the "Rendezvous in Outer Space" album. Trance from that era is like "space music" from the 70s with Tangerine Dream and Ashra Tempel. Revolutionary, raw and cosmic. Too bad today's EDM is completely mechanized, clinical, proceduralized and lacks melody (yes, complains about modern EDM is a standard mechanized procedure in TA :P)
And Jay, DJing has nothing to do with production... the thread is about his productions
