I like the idea a lot but you steel need to learn and practice, try to improvise your mixing skills, and it will sound much better, but hey this is just my opinion keep it up

man - i come from the bedroom as well lol and i must say you seem to be advancing pretty well - i liked your track and your right about the mixing needing work, but hey - its pretty good.

Hey dude, listening as I review:

0.05: Kick's a little harsh. Also, the problem with using loops like this one is that they often have some quite unique sounds in (for example, this one has that kind of "shuffling" sound) which don't necessarily go with the track. I know it's quick and easy, but try to think about how you can put together your own rhythms from whatever samples you've got (or even splice up loops to make your own, new loops). Since this is your first track, it's not something you should worry about too much just yet, but just dont spend too long relying on loops - you'll realise one day that you find making decent percs really hard (at least that's what happened to me :P)

1.30: Nice progression so far, like others have said, it could use a bit more mixing (there's a lot of empty space that feels like it shouldn't be there). For starters you could try beefing up your bass with some more beef around 250Hz.

3.05: Got yourself a nice breakdown here. Who's the singer?

3.47: Not a huge fan of this synth though.... Sounds too presetty, and a little too dry in the mix (perhaps some effects like a bit of reverb/delay/etc might help it fit into the track, rather than 'sitting on top').

6:30: Try adding a few extra elements to the main part of the track ("the rush", i call it) to stop it from getting too repetitive. You can try tweaking the melody, adding some new layers, removing some old layers, or all of the above.

Overall, not a bad start mate. I hope my (hopefully) constructive comments here don't come off too negative. This is a damn site better than my first track. Hope you enjoyed making it, keep at it.
