I regret not checking her out sooner.
I've always seen her name around but for some reason never really caught me as someone I'd be interested in. Caught her at Pride a year or two ago and enjoyed her set in the 'campy gay' way and think I just sorted of assumed that is how she would always sound.
Decided to check out her newest podcast and it caught my ear so ventured out not really knowing what to expect.
Lesson learned, and I'll be sure to check her out more often when she comes to town - the party was packed but always had room to dance, killer tunes the entire time I was there. Only left the dance-floor once or twice the entire night, otherwise was near the front dancing my ass off.
Great night out, glad I decided to finally check her out in a proper club setting. |
