How can I get a stable version of sylenth working in FL?

I'll keep this simple. I always tend to start of with cracks and then overtime like with z3ta, vstation, vangard, sytrus, eventually I'll buy the synth if it becomes one of my main goto synths. I like doing this cause it saves me from impulse buys. Like gladiator, great synth, never used the crack, so I didn't buy it.
Sylenth however one of the best synths out there, NONE of the cracked versions run stable with my FL. Its actually the only synth along with genesis from computer music that don't work right with my computer.
I've tried several different cracks and all versions stutter on playback or freeze. Like if I press play and have sylenth open FL just starts to seizure and I have to shut sylenth down.
This is one of the main reasons I haven't bought sylenth yet is because I see a lot of guys using cracked versions that don't do this. I can't imagine they found a different version than I did (I'm pretty good at finding torrents) so I assume whether I'm using a cracked or not that this is going to happen.
If I buy sylenth and it acts like this I can't use it, and I won't get my money back either so it will just be a waste of cash. Although I need a stable version of sylenth working on my computer. Should I take the chance of buying it, or should I continue the search for a stable crack, and then buy it only after I'm able to find a crack that is stable on my computer?
I've always had this issue with only sylenth specifically, no other synths cause FL to stutter like this on playback, but I really like the damn synth and am getting tired of not having it.
Any opinions/advice would be appreciated, thanks! |

the resale on sylenth is high, over on KVR, used vers of sylenth go for $100-$125. If you're using it extensively then you should buy it, I'm using it on Mac & PC with no glitches or issues. I would say you MIGHT be out $50 if you find it doesn't work on your system but then i would say, your system might be an issue and not the synth... do you uninstall stuff you're not using? |

so your PC is a hackfest, still you expect it to run stable?
Sylenth is stable, NEVER had any issues with it, did buy it though. so dunno the quality of your cracks.
Do know that it's save to buy Sylenth. If Sylenth is stuttering it's not unlikely that some other rogue processes, that came free with your cracks, are ing your computer up, stealing interupt time causing you DAW not to play nice..... |

@DJ
No I don't. And thats actually a good point and I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it.
I'm going to try uninstalling all the vsts I don't use, then reinstalling sylenth and seeing maybe if that helps. If not I'm going to likely just buy it, and if I still get the problem then I think I would likely reformat my pc before I considered selling sylenth.
I need to get this settled somehow so I think I'll start there. Thanks! |

The version I have has been stable for about 3 years now. The only hiccup is that sometimes the gui gets ed up, but I'm assuming its Ableton 8. Ableton 8 has some nice features, but seems to have more issues than version 7. |

Hmm well in the past I would say it was a "hackfest", now although I still have cracks its a major improvement from what it use to be. I mean I went from having hundreds of cracks to just having 20-30, then the 7 synths I own and use most of the time.
My computer has seemed 100% stable for the most part since this last format mainly except for sylenth. So its hard to blame my pc, I'm really thinking every cracked version I've found has just been corrupted in some way. I know I use the synth so I'll just buy the damn thing, and if I get issues like this then you'll have a for sale thread for sylenth next week to look forward to. |

Can't help you on this but if you cant get sylenth working I recommend checking out ''Synapse Dune'', sounds really good. |

My Sylenth has worked fine in FL8 & FL9, not installed FL10 yet. I bought my copy though. Buy it.
I'm not a PC whiz, but if your other cracks are working fine and sylenth isn't, I'd suggest the issue is restricted to the cracked version of sylenth you have and not a problem in the vst host bits an pieces caused by your other cracked software. |

Just purchase it. Many use it with fl so if u continue to get probs it will more than likely be ur pc at fault somewhere. |

For god sake just buy the god damn synth if you like it!
Put it this way - if you can't get a decent sound out of sylenth pretty quickly, you should give up producing immediately.
It's an awesome synth and sounds amazing. Full stop.
Plus the developers are really cool guys and have put loads of time, effort and money into producing it.
Plus they're not trying to make loads of money by screwing customers.
They priced it fairly to represent that time and money they put into it, and the sheer quality of the final product.
You should be grateful that you can get access to such an amazing sounding synth for only £150.
Years ago you would have to pay around £2000 plus for this kind of sound.
Just buy the in synth if you want it.
I can't believe people like you start spending valauable time posting on how to get 'better' cracked versions of software on sites like this, when you could just support the industry and buy the thing, then get on with trying to create great music straight away without these unneccesary distractions!
Sort it out mate! |

Just in case you want an alternative to the whole "just buy it" , Sylenth ran fine for me for the entire time I had it, and it was cracked. I think it was an AiR release.
I honestly have no idea where I got it from, though. I had to download about 4 or 5 different versions before I found a stable one. |

If its something you use regularly and you seem happy with it, then I think there is no point in discussing cracked versions, it sounds cheeky to be honest. Just give the company some well deserved money, and then you get support from them
Just had an idea, sell one of your other synths you dont use much to fund the new purchase? |
