whats the differences between remixes, reworks, and like re-edits? feel free to add to any other RE's that i might have missed.

after listeing to the nu-nrg - dreamland (rank1 re-edit) i've been confused as to what these RE terms are supposed to mean. |

| In general re-blahblahblah just means an artist is taking a track, and doing there own version of it. Reworks and re-edits are generally smaller changes than remixes too. At least thats my understanding of it ;) |

yep re-edits and re-works are usually in the same catgory which is minor changes to the original or another remix... usually very minor... and remix is like redoing the track again keeping in some basic elements of it to whatever the remixers style is...
i believe? is that right :D im pretty sure... |

remixes: another artists does whatever they want to make a new version of the song
re-edit/rework: (not sure) but ya, just small changes, like everyone else said
mix: done by the original artist |
