First stop, Olav Basoski. The guy has got some hard, funkin grooves. Easily my favourite house artist.
Richard F is kinda the same, hard and funky. Then you've got KOT for some more laid back sounds and Harry 'Choo Choo' Romero for that more chunky, proggy sound (check out subliminal sessions 2 - delightful ;) ).
If you want good house sets, then I reccomend Olav Basoski - Live @ Ministry and the Matt Hardwick/someone else set live @ Gatecrasher in Melbourne a few years back. If you need help finding any of this stuff, then feel free to get in touch by the way.
Oh, and look for any of the Hed Kandi series for some fine, unmixed house sounds as well. :)
That any help? |
