With live gigs and events being the main source of income even for music producers nowadays, I am puzzled that I am struggling to find information on where are people spinning week in and week out.
Obviously the big names have the resources to have their own website updated regularly and there you find the majority of the information you need, but the rest appears to be a total mess and I am not talking about local djs/performers.
I am missing something? If not, what about collecting the best websites/ resources for these informations for country/regions or music genre? |

There are national listings in UK clubbing magazines such as Mixmag, but you have to pay to be included so they obviously only go so far. Additionally there are sites like DontStayIn and Resident Advisor that have a lot of listings in this country. Although there are sites that attempt to offer comprehensive club listings, they're only comprehensive if promoters decide to use them, and many don't. Often it defeats the exclusiveness that underground nights encourage.
There's so much going on in my city alone that I use a combination of the Internet, listings, flyers, posters and word of mouth to try and keep up with what's happening, and even then I often miss things. |

| The Netherlands has the always useful www.partyflock.nl, which seems to be quite comprehensive for events across the country (and even bigger events in neighbouring countries). It's not flashy in the least, but makes up for it in effectiveness and cutting to the chase. |
