as to your Encore Beacnh question, i don't know if this is BS, but i was told that if you want to gamble, they have to let you in for free or something like that. i went to Surrender one night and gambled for a while outside... the table host gave me his card and said if i wanted to come back the next night he'd go grab me and escort me in the venue instead of having to deal with the door situation.

went to vanity afterhours for calderone early this morning. he killed it but very disappointing he only played an hour and 45 minutes!!
wet republic friday was great for boris and calderone also.

Tiesto sucked at wet in my opinion. The opening dj's killed it though.... THe weather sucked on sunday everywhere so everything was horrible sunday. Fri i did victor and boris and it was pretty good.

Marquee Nightclub went OFF! Aeroplane and Fatboy Slim and James Zabiela blew the DOORS off Marquee.
It was a blessing in disguise that weather was ty. If it wasn't for the weather Fatboy Slim would have played outside.
Lets face is, Nightclub > Pool Party
So it was my dream come true. I wanted to see Fatboy Slim inside a nightclub again not a weak poser pool party.

PVD's set was pretty good, well then again he mostly played House tracks sped up a little bit lol
I was going to go to TAO, but it was either following a girl to her room at the Palms after PVD or Morillo who I have already see countless times.

PVD dropped a beefed up version of Dakota - Johnny the fox that was the track of the night for me.
Also TV Rock dropped a remix of Funkagenda - WTF that was absolutely sick.

I don't consider Chucky or Afrojack real EDM. I consider them more trendy pop dance. Very commercial. In all honesty, I liked it way better when most EDM was underground. The crowd wasn't, in Nerologic's words, full of "posers."

It's cheesy pop top 40 house music.
And Chuckie manipulates it VERY well. He is more technical in his sets than more turntablists. He is VERY talented.
I have more videos that I will upload later, one blows my mind because he is looping, juggling and mixing 3 tracks at the same time.
Thats more interesting than the trance Dj that hits play cue play sync and then moves the crossfader.

I enjoyed it. But then again I enjoy that he plays house music night. I did love Tiesto back in 2004 to 2007 trance days....but I've been a house head since my 2007 Ibiza trip.
