The music also went downhill for my taste so that has a lot to do with it too. Now I'm more into BBQ'ing... lol I think that's a sign of me getting old! haha |
33, 20 yrs and counting. I still miss the old warehouse days but I guess I now halve to live with it, they are never coming back. |

I don't think you can ever be too old. If it's what you enjoy why deny yourself the simple pleasure. Life is short and fleeting...here today gone tomorrow (or so that guy says).
Now that I am in my 30's I have more freedom so I can do more and don't have to worry so much about cost. Yeah, I've stood in a crowd and thought, damn does your mother know where you are dressed like that? (a sign of aging for sure)
As far as the drugs go...I didn't do ANY when I was young...so I am playing catchup. :D
Ask yourself this...should Dj's like Tiesto, Carl Cox, Moby, Paul VanDyke, Paul Oakenfold and Kaskade stop spinning because they are over 40? |

I'm 32 now and I think the minute I turned 26, I started feeling old. I guess the feeling that you're closer to 30 than 20 is what got to me.
Back then it was party every weekend, then it got down to once a month. Now I'm lucky if I get to party more than twice a year.
I am seeing James Zabiela next weekend @ Avalon, my first event of the year. If I go 2 more times by the end of the year, then maybe, just maybe, I'll feel young again. :) |

| I'm 23 and look young so I can't say I feel the same. I do feel out of place when I'm surrounded by kandi kids at events, but I don't go often because my friends hate electronic music. |

turning 30..don't feel old.. just more experienced.. when i was younger.. it was almost every party was a "big party".. now i go out once in a while.. when i find its worth going out..and when i do i have a great time!!
i try not to pay attention to others at clubs...whether old or young..
i only pay attention when they get in my way... like shuffling on my foot or having some chic's hair whip my face cuz she's so twacked out....and when that happens.. drinks ill be aflying and shoving will occur LOL |

i personally don't see a problem with "older" people partying. I do have a problem with older people getting twacked out of their minds.

Well said.

And I agree with part of what Jesse said. Not too many great acts out there anymore. But I do go out to support friends who dj, and hear the sound of a big talented name such as Cattaneo, Lawler, Tenaglia, names such as that. |

I'm almost 40, have 2 kids(15 yr old boy and 9 yr old girl), been married for 17 1/2 years and we still go out but like once a month maybe twice.
we go to the clubs mostly but like to go to EDC and Nocturnal as well. the last time I felt old was at Music Box for Avicii...bunch of hipster type kids(just probably turned 21). it was weird for me but I just laughed at them when they shuffled, my entertainment. other than that I dont feel old...its cuz I'M NOT! ;) |

It depends on the club, IMHO.
I'm 34, and one of my good clubbing buddies is 39 (looks mid 30's): At Control, we feel OLD. At Avaland, we have no issues.
At EDC last year, we felt REALLY OLD.
But, Pacha in Ibiza, I was fending off cougars in their 40's and 50's...
As long as you are respectable and aren't completely out of place, I think you can easily club until your 40's... |

the real question is...
WHY do you care what people think about you?
People either HATE me or LOVE me, with me there isn't much room for grey area. To me ya it's cool when people like me, but when they hate me it doesn't nothing to me.
When I get old, I will prolly be the creepy old dude with the hot 21 year old chick dancing the night away... |
