Trying to get something going! I used to love that venue back in the day. Saw NOFX, Pennywise, Diecast, etc.
Should be a fun time though! We're going to try to spin a little bit of everything! |

lol, is it? I used to go to school in New London. I never really ventured off campus too much though. Is it that bad? |

Depends on the area, Right in front of the gee and up and down the main strip (bank street) is fine. Just like any other city, don't go wandering off down random dark alleys and you'll be fine! lol!
But really though, all the venues in NL are pretty tame, the police have a good presence in these areas. |

its not horrible...and the EDM scene is basically non-existant.
Before i moved to NY i had a couple "club" owners and people approach me asking to help build it up.
it was like requiem for a dream only the funny version. and i was in the middle and embarassed.
The crowd that I was able to reach out to after realllllly trying was fantastic to be honest- but the locals...who were supporting it with sketch drugs...ruined it for everyone.
I had to change my cell phone number. That bad.
I will say that I did meet some great people along the way and was able to beg some new college residents to give trance a chance and some even to this day still fb me saying how much they love it....
so its not all bad.
Good luck with this....Id love to see ti do well. El N Gee is a fantastic place. Make sure to reach out to the providence crowd and the navy guys! hahahah Navy guys will always help you suceed in ANYTHING

Yeah agreed...i actually like the little strip there (having worked at Pfizer for 4 years...and originally i come from Fishers Island so ive spent my entire life in New London on some scale...)
New London has som very very bad spots though...so do not leave that area hahah
And cops...um yeah! do NOT try to drive home after drinking. end. of. story!
but thers great parking :) |

Got it thanks :)
I'm looking into possibly doing another night on the 1st, if there is room I will keep him in mind! I want to try to do a different line-up for each show. |
