Got there and settled in just as Button was coming on. 15 minutes later the heavens opened up and it started to pour. Nobody cared in the least though and JB powered through, going progressively harder and deeper. I've never seen him play so hard before, and the crowd was eating it up. Probably my favourite Button set to date.
Next up was James Teej and like always, he delivered. Super fun and groovy tunes, with really heavy basslines that kept getting deeper and deeper. One of Toronto's finest and yesterday he proved why once again. A couple tracks were outta this world, especially that new one that's coming out on MFR soon, pure sleeve.
Then came Arthur Oskan, who I was most excited to see. I've heard a lot about him lately but yesterday was my first chance to actually see him out. He's a monster. So technical and his programming is next level. Controllerism at its best. Just watching him work his equipment was a treat. By now, CB was really going off.
Up steps Jamie and takes over right where Arthur left off. One thing I can say about Jamie is he's super consistent. I don't think I've ever heard a bad set from him. Last year he destroyed CB, and same deal this time around. Banger after banger.
Left just after Terrence came on, but from the little I did hear, he was right on point as well.
Can't say enough good things about Platform @ Cherry Beach. Awesome sound, perfect vibe, solid lineup. Toronto at its best.

Sadly I got there late, right around the end of Oskan's set... had some miscommunication with my friends :( But alas, even from that time, EASILY some of the best vibes I've experienced anywhere. Definitely cannot wait until the next CB party and I'll be there early this time to take advantage of the sun!
Shame on some of you for missing it! Even though there are going to be more CB parties in the future I imagine, this one was definitely not one to miss!

that moment was epic, fireworks going off during arthur's set. When i'm 70 these will be the parties i will tell my grandchildren about lol.

Awesome party with a great vibe. Looking forward to more of these parties this summer. Would be nice to have international djs like Gregor Tresher spin there again.
