◙ The Project SUPERNOVA was born in 2002 by the partnership of Emiliano "Emijay" Necioni and Giacomo "G.O.D.I." Godi. The two djs and producers blended their own previous professional experiences to create an ambitious and successful project.
Supernova are currently working with the most important label of the House and Electronic scene; among these: Strictly Rhythm, Defected, Stereo Productions, King Street and Tronic. They are some of the hottest and most required Italian producers on the international scene. ◙ Recently DJ Sneak remixed their single "That's what I like" on Lapsus Music, the label founded in 2009 by the duo. Lapsus Music is one of the new independent most respected label.
Their 2007 album “Downtown Underground”, released by Sony BMG, put the duo on the musical map. Rich with vintage references and done in collaboration with renowned international artists such as Grandmaster Melle Mell, “Downtown Underground” was immediately supported by MTV and the top music critics and launched Supernova on tours to China and the USA.
In 2010 Supernova played the top European clubs, with gigs throughout the continent, including shows in Londra, Ibiza , Mikonos, Berlino, Dusseldorf, Mosca, Krasnodar, Sevilla, Barcellona. The duo looks forward to upcoming gigs scheduled in Brazil, Russia, Spain, Albania and North Africa.
Their live Dj set continue to excite their international audience with their unique sound, blending tech, funk, and acid house and creating a brand easily recognized internationally.
