Anyone going to AVB tonight? I am going, got my ticket a while ago. I haven't listened to ASOT for a long time and haven't seen him live in a few years, so pretty excited. And judging by his tracklist, he isn't playing just all his own productions which is great (cant stand the trend of DJs only playing their own tracks)
Can't wait for the 2 hour extended set from armin tonight ;) |

i'll be there around 10 im guessing, try to get the most out of it, any idea who is opening?

pretty much... i paid $55 after taxes...doors open at 8 supposedly...but Armin will be on at 1130 the earliest, so possibly 2.5 hours...no idea whos opening...
not much trance or EDM in general, ever in boston, besides RISE... so that was my justification and also that i ahve the next 5 days off so wanted to start it off with a bang...so ill rip it up at Armin then go party the sunrise elsewhere |

that was a joke since NYC got a 4 hr "extended" set.
Boston traditionally only gets a 2 hr set. PVD and AVB have done 3 + 4 hr sets before, but that was years ago before they were as big as they were today.
can't complain about pricing - market sets the price and people will show. Just gotta bite the bullet on this one |

lmao....its two hours and tickets only started at 40 bucks (less for those who caught the lists)
2 hours is normal now- they are not claiming this to be "extended"
Boston is actually getting a good normal decent deal imo

amen! seriously. and most of the people complaining about this boston event arent from boston, probably never been to boston, and have no intentions on going to this show. UGH so fustrating bc so many of us have been trying to build bostons trance scene for so many years and its NOT easy
