Hey, I'm looking to buy earplugs for when I'm going to see performances. Any suggestions?
P.S. preferably clear/transparent plugs. |

How well do they work and does it affect sound quality a lot? |

| I only find these necessary when you are right upfront and can be a bit dangerous when walking about in crowds as you can hear whats going on around you. |

they work very well. i've been using them for several years. they are sold as 20db, but are really 12db. cuts all frequencies about evenly, but seems like the lows are cut more the first few times you use them.
in a noisy club with a terrible system where people are talking louder than what's coming out of the speakers, wearing the ear plugs cut out the background noise and made the music clear. pretty damn good for $10 imo.
there is a special way to put them in your ears that requires you to pull your ears away from your head while inserting the plugs. make sure you follow it. |

For sho!
Me and my wife are using Sensaphonics ER-series (me 15, niinah 25) and they work just great. Definitely worth the money.
