a baby could shoot during the day. it doesnt require much skill. just put your camera on Auto or Program (or whatever auto/semiauto settings your camcorder has) and hit record.

Ohh how I already miss this cruise. Can't wait for Lawlers Toronto return! From his twitter, it looks like he'll be back again before the summer is up.

I think it takes more than a baby, to actually put the time and effort into coming out and shooting these videos. Yes, anyone can do it, but who actually does.

That's part of my point. When we video in the dark clubs, all hell breaks loose and you get into grainy or out of focus clips all too easily. Recording during the day is definitely a treat at best.

invest money in to a better video camera. get something that supports higher ISO and the noise should decrease. i love being able to shoot at iso3200 on my camera (wish i could go higher though)

I have my tricks. You should see the originals before they're "cleaned"... big difference. I've spent some good dollars on de-graining plug-ins for the editing software I use. As for spending more money, there's no problem dropping 5 or 10 grand on a better camcorder (my current setup is about 2). The problem becomes size. Those sexier cameras become three or more times larger than what I've got. Not very practical for what I do since I like to party as well as video. Being in the middle of a zoo of ppl during one of Guv's large events would be a pain in the ass to drag a bigger camera around. I've seen the pros and their cameras. They're always on the edge of the crowds most of the time and you never see them partying amongst everyone else.

Not much fun in that. At least not for me.
