Just looks to me like a buncha guys having fun doing their thing. And if they're having that much fun just making a promo vid, it follows that their crowd probably will, too.
Only caught a bit of this the first time I watched it, but spotted my buddy Richard in the jokes b-boy lineup once I viewed it all the way through - big ups to the oldschoolers! |

Well thanks for at least giving it a chance.
I agree, its not the best production or idea...however, getting a group local DJ's / MC's / Promoters / 1 Raver / 2 Photographers and 1 homless guy together in one spot at the same time to execute an idea with only 1 hour is extremley challenging. Not to mention we had security breathing down our necks due to not having permits.
We were trying to get away from the typical spam we all get forced down our throats every day on mailing lists or facebook invites.
Now...most of us are performers but certainly not actors. So why not play on that?
I mean it was a 3 min vid to promote a DnB event...no one was shooting for Shakespear. Just some cheese that people might discuss, good or bad :)
We have always tried to promote a fun vibe at our jams.It's not just about the headliner. So a bunch of dudes acting like fools kinda fits right in. |
