Hey guys, this is my new track in project view. Tell me what you think, thanks...
funkilus
really liked it . especially the ambience.

I like it too, not much more to say actually :) I've heard some of you other stuff on YT, and a lot of the other things you've made is also great.
And thanks for the quick tour around your project in FL. It's really nice to see how others arrange their stuff in FL. Are you still using FL 8?
MaX_TrAnCeX
FL 9. I dont think upgrading to version 9 has made a difference, its all about third party VSTs.

sounds great! I enjoyed that, cool vibe throughout the track.
Can I ask what main kick and crash cymbal you are using?
cheers,
MaX_TrAnCeX
VEC2 Cymbals Crash 09
The kick is a layer, its VEC3 Bassdrums Trance 55. I stacked two of them, one with low pass and the other with high pass filter. I do this so I can process both ends differently and give me a more unique kick

He he nope, going from FL 8 to FL 9 shouldnt do much of a difference on the sound :)
I'm still trying out different VST's, and havent found out which ones I'm gonna settle with. Most of them sound great, but some of them are just so damn expensive...

Wow. Love the presentation. It was really cool to see the whole prokject. Did you master it with Maximus?
There's nothing on the master that's enabled, but I do use soundgoodizer (which is maximus) on individual mixer channels.

cool, good idea with the kicks, i'll experiment with that concept next time im working on a song. Again, really good song, enjoyed it.

p.s. at 2:49 what did you use to create that zipping sound effect, ive been trying to find dry samples of stuff like that but most are all processed with reverb/delay.
thanks again! I noticed you are using sylenth, think I gotta get it, seems everyone who is into creating trance swears by it in one way or another.

VEC3 FX Sweep Up 41, I just added reverb on it. I strongly suggest you use sylenth, overtime it gets easier and easier. Practice recreating plucks/leads from scratch and you will understand why everyone is using it, very simple and powerful.
