yeah it's a really solid album, good to know he was back in the limelight near the end!

I bought "The Vulture" by Gil Scott-Heron at a book festival the day before I left for China, two or three weeks ago. My father would play his records on summer Saturday afternoons when we had family or neighbors over, just hanging out around the table, talking, eating, and listening to good music. I don't think he was that old was he?
