does anyone have one? i'm looking for a good one... i work at my friends coffee shop and she said she can wholesale me one of these:

but i found it doesn't have the greatest reviews, and i saw a youtube video and it sounded a bit loud? Can anyone recomend a better one? I just want to be able to pull a good shot, and have a decent wand too.. |

Never get anything from "Mr. Coffee." They're steam driven, the steam gets too hot and burns the espresso, and it only generates like 8 bars of pressure so it's not enough to create crema. You can get them cheap but they don't make a very good espressso. If you want a good espresso at home you'll have to spend a bit of money to get something that's pump driven. And to get a good steamed milk you want one that has a reasonably large frothing wand that's very powerful, because you don't want to just get foam on the top of your milk like Starbucks does it, the milk is actually supposed to have air incorporated in it to create micro foam so it has a silky and creamy texture.
There are some great espresso machines that you can get for home use but they're in the $200 range. |

For now I have this but I full on plan on getting a real one when we move into the new house next year...
I'll tell you though that the Tassimo is pretty impressive for what you get.. |
