so my friends called and they said that you still need to dress up, as in shoes, shorts, collared shirt.

is this true or was the lady mistaking for the nightclub?

you don't have to dress up for marquee's dayclub...just dress like you're going to a pool party. nikki beach on the other hand makes you wear swimming trunks. f$ckers

I actually tried asking this dresscode question on TA but got no specific answers. So I called the people that work Marquee ( multiple times to ask a number of questions and get clarification, day and night always got a live person ) and the consistent answers for Dayclub dress code were:

Swim trunks / board shorts are good - NOT regular shorts. Wear what you would wear into a pool even if you don't plan on going in.

Flip flops are perfectly fine. Lots of people were wearing them, including me.

The only inconsistence I got was the shirt. One girl told me "collared button-down, or no shirt at all" while another girl told me "t-shirts are probably fine" (which seemed to be the case after seeing what some people were wearing).. I wore a very light material button down that was not at all formal, very easy to dance in and very loose.

The guys in front of me in line DID get turned away for having on cargo shorts. The bouncer asked if they were staying in the hotel and could go change, and if not then to head to a shop inside Cosmo and buy some swimwear.
