What a fantastic evening! I got there around 230a, and I got to walk right in because of pre-sale (thankfully). I wasn't expecting the place to be 100% packed already (in LA..it would have taken 2-3hours at least....)
I did forget the no-gum rule. Oops.
Everyone was so friendly...such a different vibe than LA...but different lands have different people.
They were soooo much fun. I stayed until around 8a as I had other things to get to...
Can't wait to return to Montreal again: such a fantastic city. |

There is a California city that is close to Montreal in vibe but it is definitely not Los Angeles. :) |

Yah, I need to come up again for some work, but I don't know when. I'll try and coordinate it with some good talent.
For LA, Avalon is a great venue, but the people are hit & miss.
For smaller venues, LA's vibe and music are great, though. |
