People who know me know I do vid production (media side) in the industry.
Anyhow, anyone excited for E3 this year? New Nintendo console gonna be revealed with a ING 6" TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLLER (link)
Microsoft will hopefully have more Kinect stuff. Or something. Will have a solid lineup for the X360 either way.
Sony is going to show off their NGP (which looks very promising, I have to say).
I've missed one E3 since 1998. And other than my first one, I might be more excited about what might come out of this year's E3 than I have any other! |

A few people are overreacting to all the Sony stuff. Largely the media. Most people don't give a rat's ass other than PSN getting back up (which it is now). With the internet, CC info and other stuff is stolen all the time. My stuff has been stolen through Amazon and others (probably five times total) and I've never had one bad thing go wrong. Just have to keep an eye on things.
Also, while all under the Sony umbrella most different divisions operate as its own business (For example, if SCEA wants to use a venue owned by Sony Pictures, they have to pay Sony Pictures to use that venue like anyone else).

My first visit to LA was in 2005 for E3, and my friends and I had a blast! Went again in 06, but haven't been since. Now that I live here, I should try to weasel my way in somehow. :P
I'm hoping for lots more footage of The Last Guardian and a US release date for The Last Story and Xenoblade. |

My point is the vast majority of people don't care that much about that part in the end. Polls have been done by the news outlets. Funny part is once they were done, media kinda stopped beating the dead bush about it. |

During the whole PSN "fiasco" I found no reason to complain.
It's a free service and yeah it sucked for a bit but still no big deal considering we don't pay a dime for it. In the end we got a ton of free stuff out of it which kind of rocks.
I'm really excited to see what Project Cafe ends up being like. :D |

I can speak from experience, I wasted so much time with video games. Not hating on games or gamers, but looking back, theres plenty of other stuff that I could've been doing with my time that would've been more productive. |

I'm at the point now where I only play games maybe 5-6 hours a week total, but I still love em'. No different than watching a movie or TV show, really.
I just beat the story mode in the new Mortal Kombat today. Awesome game! |

I want a Wii U!!!! Holy crap at the stuff developers will be able to do with the controller...
http://www.1up.com/news/nintendo-new-system-wii-u
One feature I'll bring up: YOu can play any game on the Wii U on your controller, no need for a TV.
The Wii U wireless transmits the video signal to the controller. |
