The break has prooved elusive.

Can you let me know if this is right now.

Will be adding in original vocals from the 1982 track shortly, which will more or less match the lead synth melos.

Ignoring the issues you're aware of, this track has got ze potential. Keep at it.

Haha wicked, never thought a remix of Ghost Town could work but the first half of that hits the spot. I'd scrap the electroey stuff which comes in at the breakdown though and just keep it dark and techy, just loop it out.

Here is the latest - same as in OP. We will mix properly and sort the overs etc;

Can you let us know if the break is working for you - this is about the 8th overhaul we've tried.

The vocals from the 1980s original will be added to this break if people think this is working.

You've completely lost what I thought made it great: it was a techno track, but managed to subtly weave in the feel of Ghost Town... now it feels more like a novelty remix.

Don't get me wrong, it's good, I'm just a bit disappointed that it's no longer 'playable' for me!

Too damn short - basically translated: Keep at it.

I wish the earlier one was up so I could make a little more of a comparative evaluation, but I genuinely like the current version.

Hey Stu- sorry it wen't off at a tangent but I felt the break needed to be more like the original.

It's still pretty tech housey, no? We won't chnage it now, it's where we want it and tbh after all these weeks it's got to that point where we've just decided enough is enough. We are currently waiting to see if the punlishers will clear the samples. This band has never allowed a remix so it's a long shot.

Check out latest version of our track Slut Walk - of you like techy stuff - a lot of update tonight.
