this is old news, and an even more tired joke.
The intersection in question is at north 8 or 9 and bedford in williamsburg, and these days it's highly more likely to see a couple of yuppie parents pushing an $8000 stroller down this stretch of sidewalk than an honest-to-god hipster (irony intentional)

i think these are mostly people that moved from manhattan, and people from overseas who are looking for the 'hip', 'local', 'fresh' 'community' to raise a family.
maybe some of them are aged hipsters though.
but to catch them now your best bet is to open up a boconcept on the street |
