2011 Formula 1 Weekend! June 9-12 (pg. 2)

She really likes house and trance, but trying to get her into a club at midnight, and then wait till 4am till the headliner comes on, just won't work.
But there must be loads of special events in the city during this weekend, that's kinda what I am looking for. Just wondering what other stuff there is to do. I haven't really explored Montreal as an adult.
Just took a look at http://www.tourisme-montreal.org/ - but I cannot find a calendar of events. Lots of text, and wonderful writing, but nothing to show a list of things happening in the city. On an unrelated note, they are really going for some gay and lesbian toursim dollars, with its own dedicated section. |

why would u have to arrive at a club at midnight to c a dj at 4am? most afters open at 1-2am which means u go to a regular club, have fun, then b4 3 u leave and head to the after for a dj whos gonna come on in an hour!
but i know what you mean
id check out victor @ terrasse bonsecour on sunday... it'll be a fun/different thing to do in town
honestly id avoid most clubs friday/saturday night (but Friday I would def go to the Joris voorn party @ telus theater (+ if she doesnt like that just bring her upstairs to lamouche |

| swing by Salon Daomé maybe? Mount-Royal street is closed as well and can be really fun and not as cheese as Crescent and St-Laurent. |

| I really want to go to the Calderone party, but I can't deal with Montreal during F1 weekend. The Torontonians that come up are the WORST, (and I'm from Toronto). There's some industry people that go up, but for the most part Montreal is like anti-Montreal during F1. |

sorry Malek but that looks more like a dirty hipster from the Mile End or NDJ than a guy who hangs out on Mt-Royal st. There are no more hippies in the plateau...they can't affort hit.
These days, it's the Euro invasion on Mt-Royal...especially from France... |

Agreed! Total forgot that was this weekend. A lot of fun and gets nice and messy!
If I could reco anything, I'd say Beefest....Pik Nik Sunday and venture off to Terrasse Bonsecours for Victor Calderone. His set will more than likely be one the later times slots. My Guess is 9 or 10. The back Stage at Terrasse is pretty cool...so there will be lots of space to dance. |
