'On the run' was IMO, terrible. But Tillman & Ries 'Bassfly' was great. Orignal was simple and very effective. Moogwai remix, stunning.

Was also thinking of Bassfly, yeah orig mix if I remember. Great track.

i can see a lot of hardcore producers having heart failures, i was reading an article about sitting down vs health. i think we should build up a nice resource for producer health and sticky it here, its serious business ;)

edit* unless, you want the producer to become as disposable as the music they make, that's cool too :'(

The greatest health threat for me is attempting to steal time in the studio when the Mrs wants to do something else, like take the kids to the park etc.

The label deadline isn't valid....... apparently.

I always tell labels I can't commit to deadlines so they know . Usually they take me on board still haha.

Edit: Totally agree with the health threat situation going on. Happens here ever so often. No kids though.

Ugh. Rest in peace dude. And yes, 'On the Run' was a fantastic tune. Sad news indeed :(

When trance mattered to me, this really mattered to me. Emotive, great stuff. Poor guy. :( Shame on everyone speculating on his death, if you have ever lost someone, the gruesome details aren't important. What he did while he was here was important, and as an adolescent at least 6 years ago, this music really helped me through a lot of rough times. Personally, musically. Last person was Tadla, but both were TOO SOON. This is VERY sad.

Sad and depressing news :( He was a great producer and was down to earth to fans. I loved his interviews at nature one every year.

I just remembered once he had ATB as a guest to his radioshow and I sent a question he read it for him! RIP Mr. :(
