finished this one now :

hey adam,

i think the kick could use more of the lower end (or maybe it's jsut because i listened to it on youtube and the quality isn't that good)

the vocals in the mid fit quite well but it sounds a bit cheesy haha. never the less there is a plugin called "denoiser" by izotop (i think) which gets rid of the white backgroudn noise so it sounds a bit more clean. that's what i use whrn i record my own vocals for single words or so :)

the sub bass is really reeeaaally awesome and has a great impact!

the melody is very euphoric and i like the groove of the percussions, the closed cymbals sound good behind those nice open ones in the foreground. and the break is powerful too but i think the snares are just a very bit too loud so the sweepinto the kick has less emphasis.

in total, the track is really cool and i like it! sounds very full and the meaningful vocals fit in too :)

Cheers Cedric, really appreciate the detailed feedback - i think i did run the sample through a denoiser, obviously it was a lot worse than it is in the track now - not great sound to start with (i recorded it from DVD) but i wanted to use it because i love the quote.
