Hey all - tried to learn everything I could from the first one and put this together -- any comments at all are greatly appreciated:

Pretty cool idea, the hook was interesting.

You might want to check any stereo/panning because the entire track is panned left.

The synths are ok, didn't like the bass though.

The end also gets a bit repetative.

Other than that, it's a pretty chill tune. Keep on it man ;)

Hey Man - thanks much for the feedback. The stereo/panning thing you mentioned is interesting to me. You say like the entire track is panned left (i mean, literally, all of it?). I certainly didn't have that problem on any systems I tested on, so I'd really like to know what I missed in my mix -- I'll see what I can figure out there as that's a bit embarrassing.

Thanks again for giving it a shot! I'll definitely take your thoughts into the studio with me next time for sure.

mad respect.

Sounds like all of it. As in, I hear most of the song coming out of the left channel, and the kick is panned left.

You can see it if you look at the L/R channels. Not saying they should always be equal I suppose, but you can see a significant gain difference.

I'm positive my monitor setup wouldn't lie to me, as a centered kick sounds exactly center. And no worries, it happens.

Cheers.

wow, you are totally right. Thanks for pointing that out! Guess I'm looking forward to figuring out what's going on there, something to do tonight ;)

ah, i can't believe i did this, how embarassing. I found the issue though and am know wholly aware of it moving into the future. I ended up doing a re-master and put it up today. Thanks again for pointing out that stereo image issue, plain as day to me once you pointed it out.
