There's a lot of hype surrounding it and based on everything I seen/heard thus far, seems like an overpriced (they just jacked the price too!!) hipster toy.
Can't believe they charged that much before but then jacked it up another $50. So, aside from brilliant marketing, is it an actually useful item? I think I know the answer by watching this "epic douche chills" vid but I don't want my judgement to cloud my gear lust.

It seemed originally like it was going to replace the mikrokorg as the poverty stricken hipster douche synth of choice, but it really has taken on a life of its own with the hype (I swear its been in production for at least 3 years...), and yes, the ever-increasing price!
Would buy it for $200 which would suit the cheap plastic and crappy sounds, no more. Looks like fun, but you wouldn't want to take it too seriously (I would hope)

It's an interesting concept but at the end of the day it's an overpriced piece of plastic crap. SMH were obviously paid to market it and people seem to think you can make amazing stuff with it now, all of a sudden.
Is there even a single decent demo video anywhere on the planet that shows what it is capable of? Not that I can see.
The MicroKorg is an awesome little piece of kit compared to this.

Glad I didn't buy it. For that kind of money you can buy an iPad with a load of music apps and use it for other stuff too.
