Going to Montreal tomorrow for the weekend and staying downtown. Any good places to party and eat? Its my first time going. I googled some stuff but I want to hear first hand experiences.
Thanks

Well I am going with 3 friends and we are looking for clubs with some house/top 40/hip hop on Friday and then more electronic tunes on the Saturday... this can be changed depending on whats better on either day. We are staying at Le Nouvel Hotel on Rene-Levesque.
Food = anything thats tasty :p not too worried about the budget within reason.

For top 40/hip hop, go on saint-laurent street, you'll find plenty of clubs. Buena note is a fun club, but it'll cost a couple of $$. As for food, everything again on saint-laurent. You have shwartz that's amazing and open very late. If not you have plenty of small restaurants on saint-laurent and Prince-Arthur. For more electronic and intense, during club hours you have club Daome that is very casual but amazing choons, if not you have U.N that is a bit more upscale but still the music is very good.
For something more fun, we have two good after-hours, Stereo and Circus and they're across the street from each other. Go to either one of them, you can't go wrong with any of them.
