They'll probably start approving events again in like a year once they get the numbers in and see how much money they're losing.

I am sure it's a temporary thing while it's a hot topic in local politics. Once it settles, we'll see the gates open back up with permits. Just like before (in late 90s).

does this have anything to do with UCLA playing their home games there this year?

It probably has to do with all those people dying at every event.

Do you think they will use the Las Vegas Speedway for Monster Massive?

Other virgin venues that hold large crowds in SoCal...

Home Depot Center...
- NOT Government owned! Which is a HUGE Plus... Actually, it's owned by concert promoter AEG.
- 27,000 seating capacity plus whatever you can fit on the huge soccer field. I've been to sold out concerts there.
- 2,500-seat velodrome.
- 8,000-seat tennis stadium
- Outdoor track and field facility that has 20,000 permanent seats and has seated up to 22,000.
- If all areas used, parking is gonna suck. They'll probably going to have to shuttle people over from CalState Dominguez.
- HUGE CON.... There's some expensive houses just behind it.

- LA Convention Center (Gov. Owned)...
- Anaheim Convention Center (They did Cyber Kid there in the 90's.)
- Rose Bowl
- Perris Speedway & Perris Fairgrounds (They did JuJu Beats there in the 90's.)

no way the Rose Bowl would ever be used. its in the middle of a residential area so the event would have to end at 11pm or so. And, they are only allowed to have around 13 events per year there so when you subtract UCLA football games, they have only a few days they are even allowed to have an event.

How about Tulare?

I like Perris but traffic is terrible!
