200k people rolling balls, 3 days, in 100F weather? I'd take at least 5, and at least 2000 hospitalizations. People from SoCal have no idea what's in store for them rolling balls in 110F dry heat. If I was going, I'd write my will first

I don't even want to predict my numbers, just because that's just horrific and negative energy right off the bad.

But ya, I predicted this problem since the first news of EDC in Vegas. It's not hard to do the math really, just look at Bonnaroo a WAY smaller event...

It's a way different type of heat tho in Tennessee!

The humidity level right now in Vegas is 12% the humidity level in Manchester, TN is 59%.

it started out during the day and ended at night and we get the "marine layer" sometimes which helps cool down. Vegas doesnt get a marine layer to help cool off.

Vegas also has very low humidity making it cooler.

According to weather underground the high/low was 81/62 on June 27th, 2009. I'm not sure where in LA the temperature was recorded, but I don't remember it being scorching that day (certainly not near 100).

It cools off A LOT at night in LA during June. At EDC 2009, I remember wearing a sweater and shorts at 3am and I was still cold.
