Another 15 year old overdosed at EDC Dallas this year:

Where are the parents in this? How the does a 15 year old get past ID checks, or did they just rush into the event?
Of course, now the event & music will get blamed, not the parents & the kid, and EDC Dallas will go the way of LA.

Of course EDC will get blamed.
• Even though he knowingly attended an event with an 18+ age restriction, they'll find a way to blame security for somehow letting him in.
• Even though he was probably pouring pills down his neck, they'll blame the event for "allowing him" to do so.
When in actual fact all of this was his responsibility, not the organizer's, and frankly he got what was coming to him.

These articles annoy the piss out of me. They always use the words "suspected drug overdose" because no one ever ing overdoses to critical level on rave drugs in the first place.
I like their dip reporting about "dozens" of others needing treatment due to alcohol and heat, too. A couple of dozen out of thousands is great going, and the stats would probably be similar at a similarly-sized and (truly) substance free event due to people dancing and getting dehydrated, et cetera.
What does this have to do with music, anyway? |

| thats quite sad the kid died. I know security should have been able to stop him but its pretty easy to get by that these days. I hate how EDM is directly associated with extacy. I dont even use drugs and I'm very passionate about EDM. ing candy kids. |

This people killing themselves with drugs are also killing the raves here in Brazil too.
Raves will be prohibited here, thanks to drugged people who wants to ruin their own lifes and my parties too. Without raves, the psy trance scene is doomed. |
