Monument Wildfire

The city about 4 miles south of where i live at is getting hit pretty bad by wildfires. I believe today was the worst since the whole thing started last week. Multiple structures have been lost, including co-workers and friends homes. Where i'm at i'm pretty much safe. If i do have to evacuate it will be due to smoke inhalation. This is what it looks like from my vantage point.

| no. we had tiny fires, but nothing even remotely close to this. People that lived here for 20 years said they never seen this before. I know in CA is pretty normal. I used to live in Saugus and it was normal. The difference is that the conditions here is worse than CA. single digit humidity levels and very high winds almost every day. |

The fire started on the Mexican border about 300 yards south of the U.S. border. That area is a area known as a crossing point into the U.S. by smugglers. There was a border patrol vehicle was in the vincinty on the U.S side. There is video of of the fire being started. So the RUMOR is that people crossing the border were trying to make a distraction for the border patrol. But again, that is just a rumor at this point. Right now everybody is focused on putting the fire out.
From what i read online most people think that he is referring to the Wallow Fire, which is Northeastern side of Arizona. That is the huge wild fire that is Arizona worst fire ever. The Monument Fire is the smallest of the 3 fires currently burning. It might be the smallest, but it has already caused the most damage.
So did illegals do this? No. Unless an American crossed over to the mexican side and started the fire. |
