posting this just because its in my old stomping grounds and nothing is ever up there...
$35 advance tickets on inthebooth.com
showtime is 5pm-10pm, so maybe a 2 hour set from both with a random opener.
enjoy my fellow noles! i would come up for the weekend but fsu is playing @clemson that week so i cant justify coming up for just a show. show + football game and i woulda been there. :(

just picked august. then edited and changed the 8 to a 9. ;) |

| i will probably be there mainly because im moving to Jax in a month, I also have a soft spot for the scenen in Tallahassee and glad to see things have continued growing since i graduated. I just hate how expensive any tiesto show is. Tickets right now are at $35 and are only available to fan club members. I figure tickets wil probably end up selling for $50-$75 maybe. Even though I havent been a fan of the bookings, they have at least been booking bigger names thanks to Committee Ent. I believe recently they have booked Aoki, Diplo, Benassi and now tiesto. Im sure there is more to come throughout the fall semester. |

saw they had dada life at 20/20 a few months ago too. really wish this stuff would of been around when i was there but more so than anything else im also happy for tally. lord knows theres all to do there really so its nice theyve got these options now. if another decent show comes to town i might make a trip back up. ive been dying to head up for a football game again so if the timing works then just maybe. :)
if you do go to the show, please take some pictures and a couple videos if you can. i know the youtube coverage will likely blow so if theres anything you could do that would be great. really curious how this will turn out. |

yea i forgot about dada life also. EDM in Tally has come so far in the past 5-8 years and made big moves in the past 3 years. There was def a few great parties in some weird spaces back in the day. Im really curious to see 20/20. The nightlife scene has really changed there since i left. 20/20, rokbar, and several other places have all opened relatively recently. I havent had a chance to make it back in a couple years now so i havent seen most of these places.
i will def take pictures and see if i can get some decent video. Even though, like many, i am no longer that big of a tiesto fan, i know a lot of people that will not allow me to miss this. im kinda curious how the even is going to be set up. Its supposed to take place in the parking lot behind the strip which is the same place the block parties are held and that music festival which was after my time. I can just see a bunch of people looking on or loitering in the McDonalds parking lot to hear the music and dance. |
