Can we just skip all the preliminary smalltalk bs and get straight to you and kit flaming each other? :D
Alright so we got a score of:
Ralphie - 1
Kit - 0
So far ralphie has indirectly suggested that kits music is superficial. Or another way of phrasing that is that kits music is shallow, has no depth whatsoever, dimension, meaning or ability to move people emotionally. And thats a fairly easy comment to fireback at kit but I'm not gonna help you here. You can make fun of him for ripping his name from that nerd in the christmas story or you could tell him his mom is superficial cause everytime she blows you she asks for money.
Either way as Mills Lane would say "lets get it on"!!

That's actually really impressive! |

thought so, first attempts to DAWs in the cloud.
if this gets adopted, finally an end to piracy, as it's very clear that eventually without an account / creditcard you'll not get in.
now this is small / low profile, but what if the big boys go to simmilar offerings (as MS is doing now with Office365 and Google with apps) |

Hadn't thought about that.
Although there wouldn't be anything stopping people sharing login details... (unless they restrict IP addresses, but that can be worked around etc too)
They'd also need a fair amount of standardisation to come up with a way of sharing VSTs (or an equivalent) between cloud-based DAWs... and standardisation is something the majors seem to be moving away from: every DAW has its own plugin format now. |

I disagree there is no standardization necessary at all. You're just viewing a remote environment. This means the plugins are available online everywhere as well and come with the license.
What they do need is an elaborate payment plan to sort out which details are available. there's a humongous list of VSTs already.
There's already 1 sequencer that runs in the cloud by the way. |
