cubase 5 question

Hi, i've installed recently steinberg's cubase 5, and i really like the program, but i am kinda used with fl studio 9, so i have a question : Can i assign somehow the notes on my keyboard buttons? (i have no midi keyboard) I saw the virtual keyboard that appears with alt+k but it's really short (qwertyui and 2,3,5,6 buttons are available only, though when i activate it, the cubase's shortcuts don't work no more- wonder why didn't they activate the whole keyboard for notes if they deactivated the shortcuts while using the virtual keyboard :conf: ) since in FL studio I could use the whole keyboard so it's pretty useless, even with the possibility to change the octaves but with the same keys :( still not comparable to fl studio from this point of view. So in other words, can i use the whole keyboard to test the notes ? I don't use too much the shortcuts, so if there would be a way to replace these with the notes, it would be great! :D
Thank you. |

you can change from 'qwerty' keyboard to the full one by clicking the 'tab' button on ur keyboard.
If that's what you mean. Eventually just download a VST of qwerty keyboard, it worked well in Cubase SX 3

Hey, thanks for the tips. I tried Virtual MIDI PIano Keyboard(vmpk with LoopBe1 driver but the sound is a bit different of the one played with cubase's virtual keyboard :(. Can you tell me what sort of virtual keyboard & driver u have used with cubase sx3 and how did you manage to use it along with cubase? (I have windows 7) |
