people need to start ALWAYS including the soundcloud player should they be posting from soundcloud. I am [and I know everyone else is too, or else they're lying] so lazy that I want to click onto a thread and be able to listen to a track if it's from soundcloud. :whip:

very uplifting indeed! not bad compositionally, though the (what I assume is) ROMpler acoustic guitar in the breakdown may be a bit meandering for my tastes (though to be honest, I am not a fan of that sound and never will be, so I could be biased).
the mix could be a lot more punchy. that's one of those annoying terms that people just throw-out and can be interpreted 10^10^10 different ways, but basically it could use a much more prominent kick/bass relationship, and a much more prominent mid-range. the midrange is almost absent, which makes the whole thing sound tinny.

| Cool synths and stuff, good FM style trance pattern. Good ideas. The mix down is really flat though. It needs EQ, some ducking, and stuff like that. But with time it will come to you, keep it up. In trance like you're attempting, the kick has to really come through, and connect with the bassline. With all dance music, really. Kinda sounds like the kick is way back in the mix. |

Thanks for the feedback... I think Ill let this track sit on the back burner for a week or so and come back and give it a listen. I have been working on it about 3-5 hours a day for the past week. My ears need a break, lol.
Ill play around with the kick for a bit... I probably just need a different Hi kick.
I really should have had a reference track while working on my own... but I failed to do so... lol. I will keep this post updated when I do some clean up work on the track.
