Ableton question about clips

Calling all experts
How do I take a stereo track in able ton and convert it into two discreete mono tracks
And... Is there a way to copy/paste parts in same clips, like say bar 4-8 and copy it several times, then go to rest of the clip? Halp. Pls

ok for the stereo separation
cmd + d the channel (duplicate) - put utility on both of them, set one to left and the other to right.
you can't duplicate items inside the clip view :( have to do it in arrange |

Thanks for ideas. Side question: is there an equivalent for soundforge on mac? |
