I've regged here because I'm in need of a little advise to be honest :) I'm working as an accountant at a multinational company, but I don't want to die as one. So I started making music couple of months ago. The thing is I don't really know how should I get signed to a record label or which one should I try with my kinda music ( I can manage to make almost every genre, but my favourite is trance) Or... should I improve before I make my mind to find a label? I would be really glad to hear some responses! Thank you! Ricciardo ok, first advice before trying to promote your music, beware if your not violating anyone´s copy rights there is allready an artist named Elysium http://www.discogs.com/artist/Elysium he is an avarage well known artist in psytrance scen as it released his music since 90´s i would recomend you to invest your time in making quality music before think about making money or living professionaly from music the music industry can be extremly unfair, sometimes even when your super talented, not allways the best heads get the best seat... so you will have to fight hard and challenge everyone, you ill be in competition with everyone for a place to be, so definitly your only weapon it as to be your music and promotion but again, you will need a proper singular name, good music, and if you have quality people will notice, promote your work in foruns like this, sent your demos to labels, make remixes, try remix competitions etc etc good luck elysium5tiaz Hi!
