Worlds Oldest Lightbulb

Described in the Guinness Book of World Record's as the oldest light bulb in the world, this bulb just celebrated its 110th birthday on June 18,2011. The Livermore, Ca. Station 6 firehouse is home to this record
setting light bulb.
The 60 watt light bulb that just won't quit was installed in 1901 and has burned continuously, except for a few blackouts and some outlet moves, at it's home home in the Livermore Ca., fire station. It's used as a nightlight over the firetrucks and is never turned off. |

| Take note bulb manufacturers: if you continue to build bulbs like that you will most certainly go out of business! |

Have any of you tried leaving a low wattage bulb on without ever turning it off??
I think you'd be surprised as to how long it lasts... |
