Among the most basic of human needs is the need to connect with others. With a smile, a laugh, a whisper or a cheer, we connect with others every single day.
Today, the connections between people increasingly happen online. Yet the subtlety and substance of real-world interactions are lost in the rigidness of our online tools.
In this basic, human way, online sharing is awkward. Even broken. And we aim to fix it.
We’d like to bring the nuance and richness of real-life sharing to software. We want to make Google better by including you, your relationships, and your interests.
A new way of social networking of the sorts. It wont take down Facebook, but it will make Facebook think about the direction they went in. Don't get me wrong I like using Facebook, but Google+ seems interesting. I will probably adopt it faster than any of my friends.
Plus the Google+ app is only for Android devices 2.1 and higher. Plus it is by invitation only right now, seeing it is in like its beta phase.
They have a feature similar to BBM (posted below).
Google+ Hangouts
If they can integrate features like: Latitude, Wave, Talk and Buzz it be an interesting experience but many people will dislike it.
One feature is called: Circle. It is to organize your friendships between people. I know Facebook has it, but not sure how many people use it. So with Google+ (Circle) it is pretty much a part of the site / app for you to put your closest friends together and what not like, you do in real life.

So it seems there will be a Buzz/Latitude feature built into Google+
Plus there will be an iPhone app soon-ish.

Seems pretty interesting.

My buddy got an invite for this and was showing me all the stuff within Google+
