MANIK is one of those artists that have been on my radar for almost two years. Crazy productions - have never heard or seen him live (since this is his Toronto debut) - but his mixes on Soundcloud are fantastic. Part one of my b-day celebrations. MANIK's tune selection was primarily from his original productions, and of course remixes/edits. I remember dancing with Moriah at one point, and she's like "I think I hear Janet Jackson in this track". She was bang on, as Chris was playing a remix of his with Janet samples in the background. Unreal imo. This was a great night for music enthusiasts. Literally. MANIK's set went until 4am, and was unreal.
